"My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999": A Promising Anime Adaptation With Impressive Production Staff and Awards!


 Anime Adaptation of Loving Yamada at Lv999!


Anime fans can now enjoy My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 as the television adaptation of Mashiro's Loving Yamada at Lv999! manga is set to debut on April 1. The show's official website released a main promotional video showcasing the anime, revealing more cast and staff, a new visual, and the theme song artists. KANA-BOON performs the opening song titled "Gradation feat. Yūho Kitazawa," while Ryūjin Kiyoshi performs the ending theme song "Trick Art." The anime features Inori Minase as Akane, Kouki Uchiyama as Yamada, Natsuki Hanae as Eita Sasaki, and Ai Kakuma as Runa Sasaki.



Production Staff


Morio Asaka, who directed popular anime series Chihayafuru and Card Captor Sakura, directs the anime at Madhouse with Kunihiko Hamada designing the characters and Yasuhiro Nakanishi handling the series scripts. Mito from the group Clammbon (Yurei Deco) and DÉ DÉ MOUSE (Wonder Egg Priority) are composing the music. Newly announced staff includes: Tomoyuki Shimizu as Art Director, Harue Ono as Color Design, Hayato Aragaki as 3D Director, Junko Sakai as Director of Photography, Kashiko Kimura as Editor, Jin Aketagawa as Sound Director, and Yui Ando as Sound Effects. EGG FIRM produces the anime.





Manga and Awards


The manga won the Grand Prize in the 6th Annual Tsutaya Comic Awards 2022 and has over a million copies in circulation in Japan. Mangamo is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story: Recently dumped, Akane is just about to quit the game she used to play with her boyfriend when she meets Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life turns out to be somewhat of a legend. The only problem is - he is ONLY interested in the game. As Akane's feelings grow, will Yamada's focus stay on the game? Mashiro debuted the manga in 2018, and Kadokawa published the manga's sixth compiled book volume on October 21
