On March 18, 2023, the latest promotional video for the Mashle anime was released, featuring the full cast and theme songs for the highly anticipated series. Based on Hajime Komoto's manga of the same name, the complete series will be adapted into the anime, which is set to premiere on April 7, 2023, in Japan and will be available for streaming internationally on Crunchyroll.

The video showcases the new cast members, including Yuki Kaji, who previously voiced Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan, playing Rayne Ames, Yuichiro Umehara as Abel Walker, and Hiroki Nanami as Abyss Razor. Taiiku Okazaki will perform the opening theme song Knock Out, while Philosophy no Dance will sing the ending theme song, Shu Cream Funk (Cream Puff Funk).



The anime will be produced by A-1 Pictures, directed by Tomonari Tanaka, with Yousuke Kuroda in charge of the series scripts and Hisashi Higashijima as the character designer. Masaru Yokoyama will be composing the music for the series.

Mashle follows the story of Mash Burnedead, who lives in a world where magic determines one's social status. Despite having no magical abilities, he is forced by his father to attend the Easton Magic Academy as a Divine Visionary. Mash is determined to prove that muscles are more powerful than magic and will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. The manga is currently in its final arc, which began with volume 12, and the latest volume 15 was released on February 3, 2023.
